The Black History

In 22/2/2011, I went to The Black History. It took place in C101 at Holmes Hall. first of all, I watch a moive. the moive was about the Blach History, and what happened with them on the past. while I was watching the moive, I was gotten a pizza. After that, I had a great game. The game was about what happened on the moive and some questions about The Black History. I got some information about The Blach History. The event was successful for me. I was having a nice day. I got a background about black history. I improved my listening and my spreaking.

Coffee Hour

In 11/2/2011, i went to the International Center at 4:00pm. I was having a great time with people were there.The Coffee Hour was the first one for me. In the beginning , i wrote my name and my country on pace of paper. Then i had a coffee. I met a lot of international people. that was cool to meet people from other countries. while i was spreaking, guys from Egyption were celebrated their victory. I took a picture with them.i really had a good time with them. i was so happy for them. i had a good time. i felt that was working to improve my English skills.

Japanese conversation hour (The sixth event)

On 24 february..There was special event of kind I wanted to participate in OWEN.

The people were present and participants effectively . I learned and benefited about this meeting . It was japanese meeting . I met someone and I asked him to explain about this meeting . He was collaborator.His name Yuji Kaihara from Japan.He said this meeting hapened every thuresday to help student who studying Japanes or want to study for develop them skills.

I asked Yuji if I can come to this meeting and then he said this meeting is open

for everybody and many people from different countries came to this

meeting specially for the student need some help.He also said we introduce them about Japanes culture to know more about Japan . When I asked him if I can study japanese he said its not easy to learn but you can if you really study hard . Finally we talk about develop the soccer in Japan and win asian cup for fourth time.I'm really happy to learn about this class and spend nice time with Yuji and my thanks to him .

Holmes Hall Event

In 6/2/2001, i got invite by resident mentor to his event. The event took place in Holmes Hall. It was starting at 5:00pm. I got a free food. It was very delicious. I saw my floormates there. We did some of activities. We played a Poker while we was speaking together. Actually I did not like the Poker,because it was really hard discipline it. Then, we played a Mafia game. It was so easy to control it. we finished at 6:00pm. The event was so nice. i had a good time with my floormates.

International Coffee Hour ( Fourth event by Mathkur )

Today, I went to International Coffee Hour. It was a nice day because I met many people from different nationalities. I had spent nice time there. I had also met with young Americans. We met at the same table. Then we played Uno game together. I was surprised because the rules game in USA are the same in my country. While we were playing, we were talking some topics, such as home of each player and the positions that got him. There were very nice. There were very friendly. I understood all the questions that they asked me. They asked me about my major, the ELC, which level. So I had gained experience in this event. I'm very happy for that.

International Coffee Hour ( The fifth event )

On february 18th..I went to International center to joined event coffee hour.

I was excited to participant . The place was beautiful and there were many

people .First, I talked to korean people . We talk about the evolution in the field

study at MSU .Then I met another person from India . I was surprised he living in

the same campus I live .Also I met another person from China . We discussed about small talk such as weather , major , hobbies . It is great to make relationship with different people and know about them culture and tradition .I like to learn more about different culture. We had fun time together .In other words we spent nice time and I'm waiting to next friday to meet more people .

With GRAMMY(R) nominated artist King Isacc.

Feb. 18th, I joined GRAMMY nominated Reggae artist Isacc Kalumbu (otherwise know as King Isacc)
for a meet and great brown-bag lunchen seminar at 305 International Center. This was just a reminder that  GRAMMY nominated Reggae artist. We listened his inspiring musical journey and his experiences in Los Angeles, California at the GRAMMYs. Also we listened his fantastical music. Isaac will be perfoming one of the songs from his album. This event attended about 30persons( American, Chinese, Zimbabwe, Korean, ),
and brown-bag lunchen, also provided dessert and light beverage.
It was a Wonderful day!!

No.3 UAB culture meeting in union

last wednesday, I went to UAB meeting in union about their first

topic--america culture. But this meeting will be very

few people, perhaps already know a lot of Native

American culture of their country. So this is a great

opportunity for our students learn about American

culture. Of course, this meeting will, I am most surprised

that their food, they told me that the most special

sandwiches in New York. When I saw this picture,

I really crazy, because the only 2 pieces of toast, and

then 20 layers of beef. My God, they say this is the

most crazy American sandwiches, I could not imagine

if I eat it, I will become what they said many Americans

generally eat the sandwich and then they are also

adding a Famous chocolate cheese cake. I was really

shockedThen they talked about their lifestyle, the most significant feature

is that they will one day have a bath in the morning and evening, but we

usually take a bath every night.They said they would also like to take a

bath every morning because they want toown a brand new day to face

a new day. To be honest, I really appreciate the habit.Yes ah, every day

is new, we should also use the new face of their own.

No.2 woman resources meeting

I am really excited to find some events I want to join them. for example, before last week, I went to the woman resources meeting in MSU unionThis is a woman living on all aspects of the conference. Here are some of us older than the womenabout their experiences, such as their way of keeping fit and theirleisure activities of daily life. Meet me in the know, a woman's life can only become increasingly sophisticated.We women should be in every moment of attention to hisbehavior and conversation.The temperament of a woman than a woman looks is more important. Time lost,we will one day be old. Therefore, we should improve in the young years of everything they own. So in this meeting will, I know we womenshould do physical exercise at least a week 3 times. For example, yoga and swimming, two sports allows us to reach the equilibriumstate of the body, also allows us to relax. Second, when we talk with people, orpeople talking, do not interrupt others speak, and be sure to look at each other's face. When we take the chair, the chair of our body should only take half.

Conversation witheach other and then stand up straight. Here, I gained a lot of knowledge about thegirls. Yes, I am very happy.

salsa spectacular ( The fourth event )

On february 14th ..I went to International Center to participants the event there. There was interesting event for valentine's day . People are came from the entire world . I enjoyed to listen to salsa frenzy songs wow ! . The team for music were doing nicely .When ths salsa songs started,many people feel excited and dance with salsa skills moves .It seems like classic time . Every thing was encouraged to spend nice time .The food was free,also they gave free dance lessons . The songs was great and people were happy with each other . It was really like a magic night . I met new friends with different nationality and I had fun with them .I'm happy to participants to this event and in two words I will say amazing day!

No, 1 " Coffee hour "

On friday, February 4th. I went to the international center. There were international students and some American teachers. It was name "coffee hour " . The student can sat with anyone to made a conversation. I sat with some students . But I sat a long time with chinas student . He studied in MSU in college of law. I talked with him about it . Because I will study in this in this college when I finished of study English language .

International Coffee Hour ( third event by Mathkur )

Hi everyone,

On Friday, February 19, I went to International Center for the International Coffee Hour, when I arrived there I found the place crowded. I found many people from inside and outside the MSU. The meeting was a beautiful, useful and extremely interesting. Then I go to know many people and I talked to them. They were from different countries and cultures. The first person is Tobi from Jordan. He asked me about my country, my major, my hobby, my graduate and When did I come to USA? . Also I asked him about his country, his city and his major, then I told him that I studied my bachelor's degree in Jordan. We talked a long time in this regard. Then I spoke with the person in this attached photo, I think his name Yokhi or Uhon from Japan, sorry maybe I forgot his name. He was very nice, We talked a long time in this regard. Then I got to know Yumei from China. He is a college student of two years. He was a nice person. I talked with him about the weather and study in MSU. Finally, I'm very happy to go there. Also I will go to next week.

Famous Dance Salsa ( second event by Mathkur )

Hi everyone,

Many of people thought that source of this dance of spain, but I think that originated from South America and the Caribbean as I read earlier. In February 12, 2011, I went to This event. This event was in International Center. My sister and I went together to see Salsa dance, also I met some colleagues, when the people started singing and dancing I was surprised because I didn't imagine that there people who know how to dance in Michigan. I didn't know it is famous to this extent. When I was watching the dance noted that the dancing fun at the same time is useful exercis for the body. Salsa helps lose weight, increase fitness body and same time enjoyable. On the other hand, socially useful (a person always who loves dance loves social relations ). Finally, I was very happy. I was very enjoying. So, this event will stay in my mind at all my life.

Yoga and art of acquiring patience ( First event by Mathkur )

Hi everyone,

I heard a lot about this sport, but I didn't try this sport. When I saw the ad, I decided to go to Van Hoosen ( The place where the event will be held ). On February 9, I went to Van Hoosen, then I met some colleagues there, I didn't participate in this event because I arrived late to there. Just, I waited watching event until the end. I was surprised of exercises that they have made, then I understood that Yoga is sport system composed of physical movement in a sequential manner with breathing patterns are fixed. Yoga is a combination of strength, flexibility and perception, also you can sing or use a light candles or dim lighting in this sport. So I'm sure I will learn this sport and I will participated in other events about Yoga.

Yoga When you need to relax (third events)

On february 9 . I went to Van Hoosen . There was interested sport . I always want know more about it .It is the yoga . Thinking and calm time for the body . When I saw many people there ,they were did the practice . All of them were focus . I learned about yoga such as the time is important and the best time to do it in the morning every day . it has many moves and reaction . But it will be normally if keeping the practice every day .I am happy because I learned about this sport . It can be controlling self .When you need to relax and think silently , yoga is the best way .

Attend THE WELCOMING RECEPTION

It was a nice party.
I attended The 2011 Spring Welcoming Reception for New VIPP Fellows at University Club of MSU on Feb. 9, 12:00PM ~ 1:30PM. There were attend the Chief of Internationl Center, all the parties concerned and many new VIPP fellows;Chinese, Libyan and Korean. So we had greetings-Chief, self-introduction, course of next session guidence and friendly talk. Before that we enjoyed wonderful buffet lunch. We are going to help each other during in MSU.

MOVIE - The Ron Clark Story

It's a so beautiful human story!

A long time since I saw the movie on Feb 8. 7:00pm at National Science Hall.
I felt inconvenient because small screen and few spectator, but the movie was wonderful.
The movie Ron Clark Story was based on the true life story of an extraordinary teacher who transformed the life of the students. I think The Ron Clark was the most humantic and beautiful teacher in the world. He don't know following word "Give Up".
Ron Clark said..

It was really strong happy movie!!

Visit The Great Lake Crossing

 It was a wonderful day.!!

I went the Great Lake Crossing shopping mall in detroit with my friends and my family Feb.4. There was a lot of famous stores and peoples. The shopping mall was really great mall and most chipper than anywhere. I dropped in several stores and took a many communication with shoppers. I got a coupon book-additional discount coupon- at customer service center. So I bought some pieces.
While we enjoyed have lunch and break time to meet a few peoples and communicated something. It was so interesting time.
I spent all day but it was so Happy Day!!

New event in owen hall

On 6 February. I went to Owen hall to participants the event with the others.It was amazing.I

didn’t think it will be like what I saw. Specially same this day when I woke up

I felt I’m not ok .But The place was beautiful with balloons .Everybody were

Existed so I’m existing too .The light was slow and there are two TV plasma.

The food was free.it is time to eat pizza. There was a lot of people enjoyed eating pizza

with soft drinks. But unfortunately I wasn’t hungry! .While people were eating pizza , I met

new friend from china .we really had fun and good time. In other words sometimes we need

this activity to be fresh and active. I can say I’m really happy .
